I wonder, did you get the polio vaccine? You may never have known anyone who ever had it, but I do. You might also, there are quite a few still limping around. I feel like you casually dismiss diseases you have never had contact with, almost like you don't believe they exist. They do.
I had measles as a kid. It became scarlet fever and I was very sick and lucky to survive with no heart complications, and we lived on a military base with a hospital. Many people are walking around with bad hearts due to complications from measles.
I think most reasons for not immunizing are frivolous. Only legitimate medical reasons should be acceptable for school admission. How can someone take the chance that their stubborn ignorance may cause the suffering and/or death of a child?
