11. Reading this article while eating my version of a healthy lunch...

1/2 pound of bacon - healthy animal fats and proteins in near-perfect balance for my body - washed down with filtered water. I will have an apple for an afternoon snack.

I figured out HFCS 30 years ago, from the writings of a number of doctors and scientists who recommended low-carb diets as a response to my growing insulin resistance. This isn't rocket science, or new information. The fact that we're still fighting this battle today is one of the things that makes me livid about our modern globalized techno-industrial economy.
