(94,699 posts)...so, I'm not as willing to condemn him for making the comparisons based on the complaints in the article. It tracks its complaint very much like your own and my defense of his effort still stands. In fact, I think the article twists and stretches to make its complaint; assuming, as your post does, that there's some selfish motive for Greenwald's efforts, or that there's something approving or condoning of terrorist acts in his comparisons and contrasts.
I'm always turned off by the attempts to denigrate his work. Attacking Greenwald's credibility and motive is a tactic used by defenders of this administration, and conversely, others who don't deserve the support and cover of anyone here. I think his recognition by his peers speaks for itself and is a curious contrast with those who belittle his journalistic efforts.
