one member is a raging bigot and their will should not prevent other family members from inviting whom they wish nor should it prevent those invited from attending.
I will also say that Republicans have in the past been very upset by people invited by Democrats, such as Nelson Mandela, whom some of them still called a terrorist. Upsetting some members is, as I said, not the problem, the problem is not following protocols. And that is a rather major issue which I don't think is well served by stomping feet about the persons invited.
Officials should learn and adhere to protocol and they should be held accountable. It's Boehner I don't want to give a pass to. Why do you?
