3. We've been fortunate here in rural west Michigan, so far.

I have only been plowed out three times, all three under six inches. (I have a long driveway, much too long to hand shovel at my age, although I've done it in years past -- no more.)

I wish you little snow and a brisk, clear winter. The sun is shining here in west Michigan. The skies at night are clear, too. Sadly, it is too fucking cold to take out my telescope.

Or, remember the Groundhog Day quote, when Bill Murray quotes Checkov:

When Chekhov saw the long winter, he saw a winter bleak and dark and bereft of hope. Yet we know that winter is just another step in the cycle of life. But standing here among the people of Punxsutawney and basking in the warmth of their hearths and hearts, I couldn't imagine a better fate than a long and lustrous winter.

Hope you stay bundled up and keep friends close, like me.

Best regards.
