8. 6 feet of snow in a short period of time isn't common.

Sure it's cold and snows a lot in Boston in the winter, but they haven't had a break this year and there's nowhere to put the snow because there's so much of it. Even the most seasoned residents are DONE. I grew up in PA and can't even imagine that much snow. And it's not like it storms and is gone; that stuff sticks around until the temp gets above freezing. Not anytime soon.

I live in Texas, where we've had 60+ days of over 100 degree temps. I know it's going to happen, but I still hate it!
