about 100 returns so far and 7 had issues with the ACA. He said he had several that had to pay a fine of $200 up to almost $2000.
He said he also had one client that had to pay the government back several thousand from the subsidy he received. He said most of these clients could have previously done a simple return but now the ACA has made the tax returns so complicated they have to pay a out a big chunk of the refund they would have previously received just because of the forms. I have also talked to a person that does tax preparation for the AARP and she said the same thing. Basically it punishes the people that can't afford to be paying for all the red tape involved. The more I hear about the mess this thing has made the more I think it should repealed.
