(62,325 posts)according to one of the reviews I read today. When she showed Snowden some of what she has received so far, even he apparently was shocked. I believe there is a scene in the film wrt to her telling him this. His response was that 'this is very dangerous', for the Whistle Blower.
They really are very courageous and we owe them our support at the very least.
I may be wrong, but for a while now I have had a feeling that there are more than a few inside the government who are not at all happy with the way things are and are doing whatever they can to help the Whistle Blowers.
There is definitely a shift as the Oscars showed last night. Who would have expected the Academy to have the courage itself to do this? I though American Sniper would be the big winner.
Snowden is today's Daniel Elsberg.
All the nay sayers of today will be viewed in the same light historically, as those who called HIM a traitor.
