(37,748 posts)Abject, generational poverty breeds both crime and terrorism. This premise is a truism among published academics. Though it may take some time wading through reading material, the explanations are indeed and in fact, there; regardless of whether one under-qualified individual feels it's "boloney" (sic) or not...
That being said, simply giving one a pizza delivery job or a career as a night-time security guard is hardly comprehensive reform. Simplistic ideas are only for simplistic minds and bumper-stickers as real world applications tend to be both more complex and more nuanced than the dogmatic mind may allow for.
