there are so many people having this terrible problem. It's shameful that insurance will cover cancer of the mouth even if it's from chewing tobacco but will not cover any care that will prevent severe infections or help you chew solid food.
I was a social worker for many years; I saw many older people suffer and unable to eat healthy food. It is even harder for young people and you've probably made every effort possible. In Colorado we used to have some free care from a few dentists through United Way and religious charities. There may still be some public university dental schools giving some care and fitting dentures if you live near enough to one.

We will be thinking of you and supporting every little step toward universal health care, including dental, hearing and vision care.
