Of course people will overanalyze it and convince themselves there's something Truly Awful® about it, but structurally, it's pretty classic humor based on the incongruity theory. It looks like a father saying goodbye to a daughter who's starting college or entering the military, but -- SURPRISE!! -- it turns out she's joining ISIS. It's funny because that's not what is supposed to happen in this kind of commercial, and because we're all kind of scratching our heads lately wondering why western young women are running away to join the jihadis.
