6. Okay he worked 10 years as a police officer and

Then 8 years as an elected sheriff. So why didn't he work 2 more years in law enforcement and get the pension and retirement health care? Police officers often retire early, so why not do your time and collect your bennies, like lots of RWers?

Why run off and do all this advocacy? Unpaid or without benefits??? He's a big guy and I'm sure his chloresterol and BP were up, so his doctor was telling him a heart attack was in the cards....
So with these health conditions in the background, he decided to roll the dice? He was getting annual physicals in law enforcement, so he wasn't ignorant. Heart attacks rarely rise up out of nowhere.

If he's well connected enough to raise money and get elected office, why didn't his buds get him a job in law enforcement.

Something is weird.
