(27,835 posts)And it's not just a matter of "fickleness" - it is a matter of many here being so easily swayed by what their "DU friends" have to say.
You can easily spot the type - they're the ones who are always calling other people "sheeple who can't think for themselves".
It's one of the major problems here, IMHO. I see the same people regurgitating the same cliches over and over - because they rely on DU to tell them what to say, instead of actually reading source material and coming up with their own opinions/conclusions.
By way of example, the statements about Hillary are particularly glaring in that respect. When asked why they don't want Hill as the nominee, you'll see the same old/same old cliches trotted out: she's a "warmonger", she's "a corporatist", she's "for the 1%", etc. Few are able to offer any support for those claims - the fact that they "saw it on DU" is as far as they can go in supplying any back-up for their conclusions.
