In reply to the discussion: Lindsey Graham makes breathtakingly sexist jab at Nancy Pelosi [View all]merrily
(45,251 posts)I don't know that my thought was a sexist, though. Several politicians, regardless of gender, who think about running for President or higher office than they currently hold start looking fresher, perhaps less gray or gray-less, fitter, thinner, pay more attention to the their haircuts and styles, hire stylists.
The only "definitional problem" with rape of which I am aware is that some Republicans won't admit it both (a) happens and (b) results in pregnancy of some victims. No one else I know has any definitional problem at all with rape. So, Republicans should be able to fix the definitional problem they and only they fabricated ASAP.
However, I have a feeling that the Senator's request that anti-abortion groups fix the definition will result only in another dumbass definitional problem. So, if he really wants it resolved in a way that Republicans will not suffer even more over the definition he should probably ask someone else to resolve the definitional problem (You're welcome, Lindsey and all GOP politicians!)
