3. Personally, I love it. I think it's cool. :) Makes me smile.

I think I'm too old for it to sound right coming out of my mouth, but I really like the term. It doesn't have any nasty associations to it, no bad feelings attached to the word, at least not for me.

As opposed to "Hey lady" or "sir..." both given in a condescending tone of voice...
