Romney: I Would Have Ordered Taking Out Bin Laden Too

At an event in New York City Tuesday with former Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney said he would have made the same call President Obama made a year ago when he ordered the raid that killed Osama bin Laden. “Of course I would have ordered taking out Osama bin Laden,” Romney said.

“This is a person who had country done terrible harm to America and represented a continual threat,” Romney said. “Had I been president of the United States I would have made the same decision to remove him.”

Earlier today, Romney said that “any thinking America would have ordered the exact same thing.”
