29. In VA in 1992(?) they wanted to raise State tax by 1 cents per dollar.

1/2 cent would go to Transportation projects and 1/2 cent to Education. The entire State freaked out and swept in Republican leaders* everywhere dragging our State economy into the dumpster. All over 1 f'ing penny.


* Pukes like George Allen and Jim Gilmore.
