Local Wendy's just installed a big screen TV!

17. This store is owned by local people with multiple stores.

They have a manager over all of their stores. He is the fellow that I called. The young woman behind the counter with the manager badge did not seem to be too savvy.

I agree with you about corporate. I noticed twenty years ago that Wendy's do not have trash cans outside of their buildings. I wrote to corporate and let them know that like it or not they were in the litter business and needed to supply trash cans for their customers. I got the traditional 'thanks for sharing' letter back from them.

Fast forward twenty years and Wendy's finally built a store in our community. The first day of business I walked in and asked for the manager. I welcomed him and let him know that he had moved into our neighborhood and they would need trash cans outside. We got them and still have them! After a recent remodel the cans were removed and so many people complained that the cans returned in a week!

Corporate will cut costs and cut away at the fabric of our communities without a blink. Good thing to remember.
