41. As a fan of her music

I'd have to say she always had talent, but in the past few years that talent has stagnated to mediocrity. MDNA (her past album) imo was her worst to date because it came across like 'following trends" instead of being a trend setter like Madonna used to be. Of course we all hear music differently and have our opinion, but Madonna always delivered some great pop tracks ("Like A virgin", "Hung Up", "4 Minutes", "American Life" - yes even with her rapping about palates and soy lattes :lol: ) and deep whimsical songs ("Frozen", Nothing Fails", "Forbidden Love - the Confessions version) and on and on.

Yes I'm fanboying here I can't help it. lol

But I think Madonna needs to stop trying to compete with the younger pop stars and pull off a Ray of Light 2.0 or something, she's too good to follow others imo.
