1. My own preference would be if I have Type II Diabetes let's get me out of the conditions that

fostered it -- raise my physical activity, lower my body weight and even out my blood sugar through diet and timing of meals.

Messing with nasal hormone sprays for the rest of one's life hardly seems like an "exhilarating" prospect since many similar treatments (eg steroids) lead to further complications, usually some kind of tolerance and dependency.
