But when it comes to equality, I think of a line from that Rush song - "and the trees were all kept equal, by hatchet, axe and saw". Wrong way to go, of course. The general good approach would be to celebrate the achievements of girls, while seeing whether there was some systemic error keeping males from the same level. Given the wage gap, its not immediately troubling.
