Clinton is the focus of attacks because she is the perceived leader.

Carl Rove, among others, supports Warrant running, because he thinks a hard fought primary will make the winner weaker.

I am sure that, just in case, they already have plenty of opposition research and a plan to disenfranchise voters so Republicans can win.
