Protesters took over the empty building down the street from me again [View all]

and this time the police have barricaded the entire block, and there are quite a few of them in riot gear. There's also a satellite news van there. I just got home from work and stepped out on the balcony and there they were. I see around 12 of the police from my vantage point, but I can't see the whole block.

This happened a few weeks ago and went fairly smooth. No helmeted police, and the whole thing just disbanded without any trouble that I'm aware of. This time I see nobody on the roof, and mostly spectators on the other side of the cross street. I don't see anything that looks like a protest, I may have missed all of that.

If anything interesting happens, I'll report it!
