17. Dogs don't know the concept of revenge

Not sure what really happened here but the idea that dogs would take revenge by going after a man's car is unfounded. The car may have run over an animal or food which then became splattered at the top of that front wheel well.

Many dogs are beaten and abused by people who believe that dogs plot and plan and seek revenge. For example, some people believe that their dog pooped in the house as "revenge" for them leaving. The truth is more likely that the dog is scared to poop in their presence because they have abused it or punished it in some way.

This is a cute, I suppose, story but it feeds the unfounded idea that dogs engage in revenge. And that idea has led to the abuse of thousands of innocent dogs.
