Sure, it is possible there is racism in the SS. It exists in lots of police departments including the one in my home county. I doubt it magically goes away at the SS level. So, it is possible there are racists in the SS.

I don't understand the vitriol for a simple question. I'll give you a Rec and an I'm sorry you've been trapped in this thread with this bunch today. An awful lot of them are the usual suspects who seem to think their ideas of what racism is and is not is the final word and you will see them in EVERY thread on race, without fail.

I'm not so sure, one way or the other, myself. I can't tell a black person what is and is not racism no more than a straight person can tell me what is and is not homophobia. We just know, from our own experiences and perspectives. I certainly don't see the harm in discussing it. Geez. What a nasty thread.
