Jesus, who always befriended the marginalized, the poor, the outcasts; and from whom there is no record of any statement on homosexuality, would certainly not advocate 'beating the gay' out of anyone.

On the other hand, the Gospels do have a record of Jesus bringing a beatdown upon the wealthy elite money changers who sullied the temple with their greed.
