might look pretty like that in the evening, but during the day...not so much. I have lived in the Bay my entire life and have had plenty of cases of hearing about (and seeing) how filthy some of SF's neighborhoods are and about people who piss on the sidewalks.
As for the other cities, I have no strong preference towards any of them. I hardly ever get to go anywhere outside of the Bay or Humboldt County, so I would just be happy to travel somewhere else.
