10. MSNBC moved (slowly, but perceptibly) to the left during Bush's last term, too.

Bringing in Olberman in 2003 may actually have been the first step, but I didn't see it that way at the time. I really noticed around 2006, as Matthews transitioned from delighting in Bush to becoming more and more critical of him.


However, MSNBC is under NBC News which, IMO, has always been rightist. Ultimately, MSNBC does what it feels it must in its struggle for ratings (and therefore sponsors).
