32. The public has been trained to respond to

gotcha moments and to scandal since the 1990s. If something can't be turned into a movie script or a reality tv program, then it is deemed by the media as not worth giving air time. Watch ABC News sometimes (we do because its the best local news channel available in this area). ABC/Disney has a vocabulary for its news which includes frequent use of the word "dramatic" and people don't make statements for them when interviewed, they "speak out" and on and on. Delivery is always in an urgent voice with. Combine that with a reading of the grocery list and you can manufacture outrage by the time you get through the dairy portion of the list. I send frequent letters to them about this sort of things. The media, as well as our politicians, need to be reined in. The politicians need to be reined in and caged because they are corrupt. Money buys both and the public reacts to what is presented. When we don't push back, we get what sells.
