55. I mean *monied* people. And the answer is, they want to keep everyone busy

talking about race, ethnicity, gender, sexual preference -- anything but wealth (the actual source of power) -- and freak out when people get off-message, because it threatens them.

Having people believe that "white people," "men," "straight people," etc. are the problem is so much more comfortable for them.
