And if people focused on those issues & learned about them they might get mad. Heck, they might even demand a change. They might start calling for curtailing climate change and ending war$. Which of course would adversely affect the corporations demanding they remain the only ones calling the shots when it comes to deciding what actions to take.
Corporate shareholders enable fiduciary responsibility. Because of it, no one is responsible. Only those who enable such actions to begin with. They are legion.
