In twitter burst, Hillary Clinton slams GOP for working ‘against women' [View all]




Hillary Clinton on Monday slammed Republicans for working “against women” in a series of tweets.
“Congressional trifecta against women today: 1) Blocking great nominee, 1st African American woman AG, for longer than any AG in 30 years….” Clinton’s first tweet read.

“…2) Playing politics with trafficking victims….3) Threatening women’s health & rights,” her tweets continued.
Clinton’s social media outburst comes after Loretta Lynch has been waiting for Senate confirmation for 128 days. On Sunday, Sen. Mitch McConnell said that her appointment could take longer than expected as the Senate debates a standoff regarding a human trafficking bill, which is being held up over a provision dealing with abortion
