There are videos of similar types where attendees of the Coachella Festival were asked if they had heard of completely made up names of bands and the responses were similar.

"Oh yeah, I can't wait to hear Ferd and the Lawnmowers. They have a really alternative sound"

Bottom line? Humans are very easily led
