There are some really nice conductors, but also some real jerks. A couple of months ago I left my wallet on the counter in the morning and I was answering email on my phone when the conductor came by I told him I forgot my wallet. He asked if I had any money and I tol him no that's in the wallet. So he says sarcatically "but you didn't forget your phone did you?" Can't just give you the form to fill out to be billed, they have to berate you too for some reason.
