Her complaining about fat white people, her saying she hates America, or her saying African Americans deserve reparations. I have a guess.

She does sound confrontational and she might very well be unpleasant (I haven't met her but I read earlier in the thread that she uses homophobic slurs) but this hate thread isn't about homophobic slurs and doesn't make sense, and the "this won't help the reparations movement" statement is ridiculous. She is no spokesperson for all African Americans or the reparations movement. She's a 23-year-old musician, and musicians are famous for saying outrageous things.

And whenever an African American woman is characterized as an "angry black woman" like this, I wonder how much is her, and how much is stereotyping. You interview someone for a good long time, and ask questions you know will upset her, and you will get some interesting quotes, particularly if she's immature (early 20s) and hasn't learned to be careful with what she says. If she's throwing homophobic slurs around, then she deserves to be called out for that, but she doesn't deserve the vitrtiol for saying, correctly, that people of color have been treated horribly.
