Actress Eva Mendes said to TV's Extra that the "No. 1 cause of divorce in America is sweatpants," according to an ABC News report. ?fit=960%2C9999

The 41-year-old has a 6-month-old daughter with actor Ryan Gosling, and said regardless of how much sleep she gets, she won't be letting Gosling catch her in sweats.

She also told Extra that raising her daughter has given her a new appreciation for motherhood.
