minorities and women over this kind of foolishness. And this web site is lessened to the point of almost nothing as a result. Even those that are just lurking, we are missing out on a diversity of voices from people that should be speaking while we are bombarded by folks who don't speak for the Dem party and never will.

And like I noted in the AA forum thread celebrating AJ90's demise, that I was so happy that it finally happened that I'm even willing to overlook the fact that despite the fact that black posters and women had been alerting about AJ90 FOREVER, it very likely was the very detailed alert from A-Schwarzeneger (a white guy) that was the final straw. Now if that don't tell you everything you need to know about this place and how it's being run, nothing will.

As for that hidden post, I cracked up laughing when I got the note that it was hidden. NOTHING surprises me about DU anymore so the fact that something that tame hidden and the fact that not one single Hide vote left a comment had me giggling. That hide did absolutely nothing but brazenly highlight that somebody realized that they were outclassed and that their "feebles" (to use your truly excellent phrase) were hurt. And it was very likely only going to get worse.
