5. I remember a post-mortem on the 2004 election...

...can't remember the channel (assume it was MSNBC) or the person who shared the anecdote, but it went something like this:

Karl Rove had assembled his "war room" for the campaign, and the famous / infamous John Kerry "I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it" sound bite had just played for the first time. Heads slowly rose out of cubicles in unison and all of these Rove minions looked at each other with "gotcha" smiles, deciding they had struck gold and found one of the major points they'd use to hammer Kerry.

I have to believe that "Team Obama" is AT LEAST as capable as "Team Rove." I have to believe they're collecting these quotes, these magic moments. Romney's just too toxic...from his flip-flopping on his own positions to the sheer amount of venom found among those who are now stepping forward to "endorse" him.

Supposedly, Santorum has presented his "conditions" for offering a Romney endorsement. THAT one should be REALLY interesting.
