1. Anyone who trusts Italian justice to get it right needs to read "The Monster of Florence" ...

There were multiple official suspects, multiple indictments, and multiple convictions, but they never did get the right guy. They did arrest a reporter covering the story, and charge him as a suspect. A very sobering read. (The new edition includes a brief postscript re. the Knox case.)
