May 2012

His predecessor as Mass. governor, Jane "None Too" Swift, had named her openly gay deputy chief of staff, Patrick Guerriero, as her running mate. Then when Swift was scared out of the race by Willard's $$$$$$$, he promptly booted Guerriero off the ticket.

The way I heard this, the homophobic bigot involved here was none other than Ann Romney, who was concerned that hubby might catch Teh Ghey from Guerriero in terms of being damaged goods in future repuke primary campaigns.
