(38,206 posts)He's too much of a coward to say the name of his business, much like hiding under a sheet in the woods at night. He's not ready to "come out" with that, huh? My, how the tables have turned. They could thank us when they see how well we have decorated all the closets, but they won't. I love the internet. It has changed how these assholes behave, at least somewhat. They still hate us, but at least they now know they cannot be openly so proud of themselves for it without very real consequences.
Of course, my hometown is not in Indiana, but businesses and churches here still openly brag about their homophobic bullshit and pretend they are so oppressed simply because I exist here, despite their efforts to beat me down. At least I had the courage to come out and openly state that I am gay and they all know where I live if they want to tangle with me and lose. Their assurances that raping me would "straighten me out" have been proven wrong. I'm still gay and 20 years after being raped, I'm almost through my PTSD, or at least I realize what it is now and know how to protect myself from them a little better.
And now, there is the internet, so anything they say and do against me will be plastered any and everywhere I can find a place to type it. They have stopped aggravating me so much since the internet, because they know I will name names and add pictures of their faces and share with the world anything they do against me. See, I just want the world to be able to narrow the list of suspects when one of these assholes finally does me in.
