Special kudos to the Occupier judo of U4ikLefty and Pinboy3Niner!

LA was infested with police who were utterly determined both to keep us from taking any route we wished as we wished (which means we're not free), and police who repeatedly forced themselves into the mass of the march on foot, bicycle, and motorcycle. Provocation, pure and simple. I can't imagine how much it cost the citizens to fund this.

Early on cops swarmed our downtown convergence point at the gateway to Skid Row (we fed the locals and passed out clothes). One was smiling and waving around a shotgun (not a "less-lethal", no green stock etc.) while other cops cuffed and frisked two locals.

Others were also offering up antics...notice that the only people anywhere near the cop are photographers:
