Thank you so much for reaching out. This has been horrifying and few people have noticed.

1) Letters - for now Purvi is in South Bend jail, but will soon be transferred to Indiana Women’s Prison in Plainfield which is closer to where we live. So for now, we can collect letters and deliver them when she is transferred.

This is rapidly changing, xxxxx, and we really need people to care. We're having a big conference call today, but I expect that to be about immediate strategies for appeal.

With the current notoriety of Governor Pence and his Religious Freedom Restoration Act, we are working hard to make sure people know that anti-GLBT discrimination isn't the only thing in it that needs to be fixed. Faith-based oppression comes in many forms, and Judge Hurley in this case was his very first appointee. I think getting these conversations going everywhere is needed to start changing hearts and minds about the unhealthy way we treat pregnant women and pregnancy loss in our society.
