11. I've had the same argument with a Ayn Rand adherent

His solution is: if you get poisoned and die, your relatives will sue the farm/packager/restaurant and they won't do it any more since they don't want to get sued and have to pay damages. The fact is you are dead at the end of the process, but that seemed to him a better outcome than a health department inspector.
