(3,747 posts)41. It's sad, but there is hope in our youth.
The Black Lives Matter movement is a beautiful example. That is a primarily youth-led movement, and it's scaring the hell out of the corporate oligarchy. It's drawing it's own conclusions, and tying the insanity of capitalism to racism. We're starting to piece things together in communities across the nation, bit by bit. As things get worse, the pace of that is only going to accelerate. Socialism is already viewed favorably by those under age 29. That's a hell of a thing in a country that only had the massive second red scare 60 years ago.
