If you haven't already, check out Oliver Stone's Untold History of the United States. A bigger headache for the U.S. during World War II than we were ever told and one of the great elitist snobs of the ages, Churchill was fond of saying that "the best argument against democracy, is a five-minute conversation with the average voter."
I would say, "...with those who still lionize Churchill himself."

Actually Buchanan has been consistent on this. He also was against the Iraq war. Just goes to show
