I agree they have been exponentially radicalized since the 90s, and increasingly operating outside the boundaries of proper government, and doing shit like lying us into Iraq and sending the letter to Iran that SHOULD have been prosecuted in some way.

But, the facts don't support the statement than they no longer represent american principles because they continue to win elections, and outside of the white house in fact have MORE power DC, the state capitals and the judicial branch than they did in the 90s.

They can say and do wtf they want now, and suffer no consequences on election day - gaming congressional districts, caging votes, trampling on voting rights ...

While this stuff burns OUR asses, the reality is that America no longer cares about these things.
