The AddictingInfo article is bullshit.

The AddictingInfo article is titled: "Republicans Write Letter To UN Encouraging Countries to Ignore Obama. Sound Familiar?"
In goes on to state:
"According to an exclusive report by Reuters, Republican congressional leaders have sent a letter to the United Nations, asking that member countries back away from any climate deal that Obama might offer."

It specifically alludes to a letter like those idiots sent to Iran. That did not occur. There is not a letter, signed by "X" number of senators, sent specifically to the UN.

In fact, if you actually read the UK Reuters article it plainly states:
"...And McConnell's warnings echoed the tone of a March 9 "open letter" from 47 Republican senators to Iran..."

That is the only actual reference to a letter being signed by senators. There is no mention of an actual letter being sent to the UN. That was my point.

No letter, signed by a bunch of senators, was sent to the UN.

Again, the things that McTurtle is saying and doing are bad enough. We don't need to over-dramatize or make shit up that didn't actually happen. When you get people spun up on something and then they find out that it wasn't true, it makes it very hard to get their help and action when we have so many real issues that need real attention.
