"We mustn't get trapped in trolling and false flags. There is more than enough real things to talk about than to let ourselves get worked up by fake crap. "

Yeah, that's condescending.

If you want to be picky, the addictinginfo article did not say a letter, signed by a group of senators, was sent to the UN. It said "Republican congressional leaders have sent a letter to the United Nations". McConnell is a Republican congressional leader. As you yourself have pointed out, Inhofe said something too; he, horribly, is chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, which makes him a congressional leader on this subject, and he also put out a press release:

The Obama administration’s pledge to the United Nations today will not see the light of day with the 114th Congress. ... When a treaty comes before the Senate, I fully expect for a majority of my colleagues to stand with the rest of Americans who want affordable energy and more economic opportunity, neither of which will be obtainable with the president’s current climate deal.

So we have 2 press releases, from 2 Republican congressional leaders. You are saying that because these were press releases (which would, of course, be read by anyone at the United Nations with any connection to this subject) rather than letters specifically sent to those people at the UN, that it is 'fake crap', 'trolling', 'false flags' and 'creating new problems out of thin air'.

In #62 you said "There is no mention of an actual letter being sent to the UN. That was my point. " When I point out that it was a press release (actually press releases), which makes no difference in reality, you turn around and say "not the point".
