(43,308 posts)you, people down here see him not for what he does for them but what he does for everyone in the city -- because we're FDR Democrats here, not corporatists -- and we want him gone. He's bad for the future of everyone in this city.
My property taxes went down by my own appeal efforts. He should get no credit for why taxes are steady; we can tell that it doesn't mean he's done well for the middle class.
The rich will make out anywhere they land, and Chuy can certainly work fairly with them. But everyone else here and on the thread is right about Rahm. He's been bad for the majority of Chicagoans. Everything for the working class has been eliminated, and what they do get access to costs more. He can't be trusted with either our public assets, our schools, parks, shoreland or our money.
